EU hosting, exclusively
All servers are located in Frankfurt (Supabase) and Amsterdam (Vercel). No data transfer to the US, no US cloud risk from the CLOUD Act.
Processing in memory
Your document is held briefly in RAM while the AI reads it. As soon as the finished PDF is created, the original upload is gone — not deleted, but never persisted in the first place.
End-to-end encryption
TLS 1.3 for every transmission. Stripe handles your payment data — we never see your credit card number.

What is kept for 24h (signed-in users only)

Security & privacy
How secure is my data?+
Very secure. Your documents are processed exclusively in memory and discarded immediately after filling. There is no persistent storage. All servers are located in the EU (Frankfurt/Amsterdam), and all transmission is TLS 1.3-encrypted.
Are my documents used to train the AI?+
No. Filento uses the Anthropic Claude API with training disabled. Your data does not flow into future AI models. API requests are retained at Anthropic for a maximum of 30 days for abuse protection and then deleted.
Usage
Which documents can I upload?+
Any PDFs, JPGs, PNGs or WebP files up to 20 MB. The AI works with payslips, ID cards, tenancy agreements, tax assessments, employment contracts, bank statements, invoices, birth certificates, marriage certificates and many more.
What if the AI doesn't find all the data?+
In the preview, you can edit, add or remove any field before you pay. You always stay in full control — no field is filled in without your confirmation.
Does it work with scanned applications?+
Yes. If the form has interactive fields (AcroForm PDF), it's lightning fast. For scanned or printed PDFs, the AI analyses the layout using a vision model and places the text in the right spot automatically.
Can I fill out several applications at once?+
Yes. Filento has a batch mode: simply upload several blank PDFs (e.g. parental allowance + child benefit + housing benefit) and one set of source documents. You get all the applications back as a ZIP file. Pricing is per document — for larger volumes a subscription pays off.
Do I get the original PDF back, or a replica?+
You get the original PDF you uploaded — filled with your data. No replica, no watermark, no altered appearance. Exactly the form the authority expects, simply populated with values.
Which AI models does Filento use?+
Filento uses Anthropic Claude (Haiku 4.5 for fast classification, Opus 4.7 for complex data extraction) as well as Claude Vision for scanned documents. We choose models that are EU-compliant and don't use user data for training.
Does Filento also work with English or other languages?+
Yes. The interface is available in 7 languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, Turkish). The AI itself understands all common languages — you can combine English forms with German source documents or vice versa.
What happens if the AI interprets data incorrectly?+
That's exactly what the preview feature is for: you see every detected field before paying and can correct it. Nobody pays for an incorrectly filled PDF. If something does slip through: write to us within 24h, and we'll refund your purchase.
Who is liable if I submit an officially incorrect application?+
As the applicant, you are always legally responsible for the contents of your application — just as with any manually completed form. Filento helps with filling in, but does not replace legal advice. For complex cases (taxes, legal applications) we recommend having the result reviewed by a professional.
Pricing & subscription
Which payment methods are accepted?+
All common credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), SEPA direct debit as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay — processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS-certified payment provider.
Do I get an invoice?+
Yes, after every purchase you receive a PDF invoice by email. Business customers with a VAT ID receive invoices with net amounts shown separately. For ongoing subscriptions, you automatically receive a new invoice each month.
What happens if I reach my monthly limit?+
If you exceed your subscription's limit, you can fill out additional documents at a discounted pay-per-use rate (€1.99 instead of €2.99 on the Pro plan, €0.99 on the Business plan). There is no hard cap — Filento will never block you in the middle of an application.
Can I cancel my subscription monthly?+
Yes, anytime. There is no minimum term and no notice period. When you click Cancel in your account, your subscription runs until the end of the current billing period and then ends automatically.
How long are completed applications kept?+
Anonymous purchases (without login): not at all — you download the PDF once, after which it's gone. Signed-in users: 24 hours so you can make re-edits, then deleted automatically. Source documents are never stored, not even for signed-in users.

Can I white-label Filento (for my own firm's platform)?+
